How is a custom AI solution different from the AI Employee?
The AI Employee is a managed subscription. You get a dedicated AI team member with skills for finance work such as bank reconciliation, BAS workings, email triage and client reporting, and we run it for you. A custom AI solution is built for a workflow that is specific to your business, then handed over with production support. Many clients run both: the AI Employee for day to day finance operations, plus a custom build for the process that is unique to them.
Which business systems can you integrate with?
Agentive integrates with Xero, including Xero Practice Manager (XPM), as well as MYOB and QuickBooks. We also connect to email, CRM platforms, document and file storage systems, and line of business software through their APIs. If a system has an API or can export and receive files, we can usually build against it.
How much does a custom AI solution cost?
Custom AI work is priced per engagement, because scope, integrations and data quality vary between businesses. We scope the build after a discovery conversation and quote a fixed price for that scope, so you know the number before work starts. Where is my data stored, and is it used to train AI models?
Your deployment runs on dedicated single-tenant hosting on AWS in Sydney. Your files, memory, audit logs and documents are stored in Australia under Australian law, they are not co-mingled with another customer's data, and they are never used to train AI models. Encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, and an audit trail of every action are standard.
Do you support the solution after it goes live?
Yes. Production support is part of how we work, not an afterthought. That covers monitoring, fixes, changes as your processes evolve, and adding capability once the first version has proven itself in real use. You deal with the team that built the solution, not a separate support queue.
Do you only work with accounting and bookkeeping firms?
Finance is our deepest expertise, so accounting firms, bookkeeping practices, BAS agents and finance teams get the benefit of work we have already done. We also build for professional services businesses more broadly, including advisory, property, and other multi-person service operators, where the work is document heavy and process driven.
